Newton Falls

The Newton Falls Preservation Foundation is currently seeking individuals interested in serving on our Board of Directors.   These candidates must be willing to help advance our mission to preserve our local architectural and cultural heritage through education, collaboration, advocacy and stewardship.

Currently, there are SEVEN vacant positions on our Board of Directors up for election. To be eligible to serve, candidates must be members of the Foundation, be willing to serve a two-year term (2019-2021) and attend quarterly Membership meetings in addition to occasional Special Meetings and Committee meetings. 

​

Members of the Board receive no compensation other than a reimbursement for reasonable expenses. 

Potential candidates are asked to submit a Statement of Interest by Friday, June 21, 2019.

Your Statement of Interest should include the following:

1). Describe what skills and experience you would bring to the Board.

2.) Describe your vision for our organization and areas of specific interest.  

 

Any Member may nominate themselves or another Member for this vacant position. New Board members shall be approved by a majority of those Members present at our Membership meeting in June 2019.

The Board has elected officers of the Corporation/Organization with the exception of a Secretary.  The selection of a Secretary may be designated by Board resolution.
