Enhancement of Our Public Parks
This is the first day of Spring and we are ready to roll-up our sleeves to begin working on our public parks.
Committee Chairman, Ron Stoner, will be leading this initiative to completion. Due to the gradual, but long-term deterioration and lack of immediate funding, our public parks appear to be in poor condition. This April, we will begin to independently evaluate current conditions of all ten (10) public parks in Newton Falls. This process will be accomplished within a reasonable time-frame. Once our evaluation is complete, a report outlining recommended repairs and proposed improvements will be presented to the Newton Falls Parks and Recreation Board for consideration.
We will make a commitment to provide the necessary volunteer labor and funding for specifically identified projects, repairs and/or improvements to each park. This initiative cannot be successful without the collaboration between the Village of Newton Falls, dedicated volunteers and guidance from appropriate government agencies.
If you would like to become a volunteer or serve on this committee, please contact Ron Stoner at 330-980-1115 or fill out the form below.
HAPPY SPRINING!
